Clementine Ford, the arch man hating feminist, wrote a tweet last week about how the 'Corona virus is not killing men fast enough', from which she received some backlash, but this unrepentant misandrist is just one example of the constant man hating men have to deal with in society.
The mainstream narrative on domestic abuse and violence will tell you that it is only a woman's problem. that women are the vast majority of victims, never the perpetrators and the only gender that matters and that men are always the aggressor and are pure evil that should never be viewed in any other way. This narrative is wrong and tiresome, and it needs to change.
Very few people in Western society call themselves feminist, men who push back against the obvious misandry most of all, but one insidious weapon feminists use against men who call out their misandry or disagree with the politics is the phrase 'you just hate women'. Here is why disagreeing with feminism does not mean that you are against women's rights or that you hate women.
Masculinity is under attack. It has been constantly undermined, ridiculed and full on assaulted for the past 40 years, with an increasing insidiousness that has been designed to make society believe that men are the problem, that masculinity in and of itself is toxic. It is not, and we need to stop that message now before it is too late.
Society has demonised masculinity for the better part of 40 years now, to the point where 'real' men have been shunned, ridiculed and are struggling to survive in a society that labels them toxic. The feminised bastardisation of masculinity is in full effect and men and boys have lost their identity and role in society to the detriment of everyone. It is time for men to stand back up and be real men again.
